Capdase SuctionDuo Car Mount for Tablets Review

When I got my Smart iPad mini before, I was looking for a car mount that I can use for it since I found the iPhone too small for a car display.

I came across the Capdase SuctionDuo Car Mount Tab-X which is compatible wi all sorts of tablets up to those having a 10.1-inch screen display. It can even support tablets with a shell case which is important to me.

This car mount simply got its name from the dual suction pads that attaches to your windshield to keep the tablet stable especially heavy ones such as the iPad.

It comes in two parts. The first is the adjustable holder that firmly grips your tablet and locks in place. It has some foam pads so that the back won’t touch the hard plastic body of the holder.

The holder easily and securely clips on mount itself just by sliding it until it locks. This makes it easy for you to remove the tablet (along with the holder) from the mount when you get out of the car.

The mount itself is quite adjustable with the appropriate knobs to lock the joints in place. It has a 180 degree vertical adjustable neck that should fit any windshield angle.

The joint closer to the holder has a swivel ball-head design for 360-degree viewing angles. So if you’re busy concentrating on the road, your passenger can easily swivel the tablet for him or her to use.

The Capdase SuctionDuo is a simple tablet car mount which can be setup pretty easily. However, I found out that even an iPad mini can block off a huge chunk of my viewing area when mounted on my car. I think this should be fine on huge SUVs instead.

This mount can be found in Digital Walkers and Beyond the Box stores for just Php1,200.

I was thinking about getting this. Is this mount very solid, or it kinda flimsy? Does wobbly around when you go over a bump? I also notice that the angle of the tablet is facing down. Can it be positioned vertically straight, without it hitting the windshield?

pag may bump mag wobble ang tablet mo. i guess it’s because yung stem nya is not too “thick”? for your second question, flexible naman yung rotations nya kaya kahit anong angle gusto mo kaya.
