How to download MP3s on your Android phone
One of the coolest things I do with an Android phone is to download mp3s from the net. Whenever I can connect to a high-speed WiFi access, I try to download top songs from the Billboard chart.
If you haven’t heard of Music Downloader Pro, it is a FREE app that can search for mp3s on the net and download it for you. I don’t know where the source for these mp3s is but hey it works. Go ahead and search for Music Downloader Pro in the Android Market on your phone.
Now you’ve installed it, using it is pretty simple.
You can search for a song.
Or you can download songs from the Billboard Chart. It can show you charts from different countries. I’m gonna try the US chart. Let me try downloading Like a G6 by Far East Movement.
Clicking it will give me the search results. The first result looks dubious so I’m gonna go ahead with the second one. Clicking it will let me choose if I want to preview the song or download it.
See that? It’s downloading!
After it’s finished, I launching my music player and go through my list to look for it. Wow. The file even has an album art attached to it. Not all MP3s you download will come with an album art or even with correct tags but it’s easy and free so I’m not complaining.
There you go. Use your Android phone as an mp3 downloader on the go. =)
Yay to Android!
